First off, I'd like to thank those that have commented on and looked at the stuff I've posted. Everyone has been very nice, and has made me feel welcome here.
I've had a page over on Myspace for a little less than a year and have had other artists suggest that I join up over here. So after putting it off for a while, I finally came on over. So far, so good! It may take me a little time to completely find my way around here, but that's part of the fun.
Most of the art I will post is done using Corel Photo-paint, which I know is probably not used by a lot of people. However, it's what I started using and am most comfortable with. I do use Photoshop somewhat, and tend to go back and forth to get what I need out of both programs. I am self taught and pretty much paint as a hobby. I am trying to do some things to make it more profitable for me.
Obviously I tend to draw and paint subjects that are a little bit dark and twisted in tone, mainly because I am a huge fan of the horror genre. I have tried to develop my own style and not ape a lot of those artists that are popular in this type of art.
I hope to get to know a lot of other artists out there, and maybe even collaborate with a few as well. I've already seen some art on here that has inspired me, and I hope that I might be able to give others some ideas as well.
